Kemenangan Juventus di markas Fiorentina dengan skor 2-1 berkat gol Mario Mandzukic dan Alvaro Morata belum memastikan gelar Scudetto bagi Si Nyonya Tua. Tetapi kekalahan Napoli di markas AS Roma yang menentukan Juve resmi menggondol trofi Serie A Italia 2015/16. Gol telat Radja Nainggolan di menit akhir memastikan Partenopei bertekuk lutut dengan skor 1-0 di Olimpico, dan kekalahan itu membuat skuat asuhan Maurizio Sarri sudah tidak akan bisa lagi mengejar perolehan poin Juventus dalam tiga pertandingan tersisa.
Gelar ini menjadi yang kelima secara beruntun bagi Bianconeri dan ke-32 secara keseluruhan (dengan dua gelar - 2004/15 & 2005/06 - dicopot karena tersandung skandal Calciopoli). Kompetitor gelar paling dekat adalah duo Milan, dengan masing-masing mengoleksi 18 scudetto. Sementara dua tim yang tampak akan menemani Juve di Liga Champions musim depan, AS Roma dan Napoli, masih kalah jauh dengan akumulasi 5 scudetto.
